How Does God Know?

1. His eyes are in every place (Prov. 15:3)
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good. (Proverbs 15:3)
a. He commands us to do good works. (Titus 3:14)
And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful. (Titus 3:14)
b. He commands us to flee evil works (2 Tim 2:22)
Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. (2 Timothy 2:22)
c. He commands us to keep His commandments (John 14:15)
"If you love Me, keep My commandments. (John 14:15)

2. His eyes are on the “Ways of Man” (Job 34:21)
"For His eyes are on the ways of man, And He sees all his steps.
a. God knows man cannot guide his own steps (Jer 10:23)
O LORD, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps. (Jeremiah 10:23)
b. A man guiding himself will stumble and fall. (Job 18:7)
The steps of his strength are shortened, And his own counsel casts him down. (Job 18:7)

3. Their secret sins are all before Him (Psalm 90:8)
You have set our iniquities before You, Our secret sins in the light of Your countenance. (Psalms 90:8)
a. Our most shameful thoughts and deeds are before His eyes.
b. Even things to shameful for us to talk about.
For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. (Ephesians 5:12)

4. He knows the secrets of the heart. (Psalm 44:21)
Would not God search this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart.
(Psalms 44:21)
a. God tells us to do many things, but not to be seen of men.
a. Worship, charity, prayers, good deeds, etc.
b. All of these things for his glory, not ours.
b. He knows our deeds; He will reward accordingly.

5. God shall judge man’s secrets (Romans 2:16)
in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel. (Romans 2:16)
a. Are your secrets in accordance with the gospel?
b. Were they for self glorification?
c. Or were they for the glory of God?

6. He will bring every secret to judgment (Ecclesiastes 12:14)
For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:14)
a. Nothing will escape his judgment
b. If you were to die tonight, where would you stand?
c. Would you stand with the sheep or the goats?

7. He knows them that trust in Him. (Nahum 1:7)
The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him. (Nahum 1:7)
a. Is he talking about you?
b. Do you trust Him and His promise?
c. Are you full of those secret doubts?

8. The Lord knows those that are His. (2 Timothy 2:19)
Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity." (2 Timothy 2:19)
a. God knows what is in your heart!
b. He knows your every doubt!
c. He knows your every secret evil thoughts and desires
d. He knows your every secret good deed and all of your good works.
e. He knows the blessings you bestow upon others.
f. He knows if you are keeping his commandments.

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. (John 15:12-14)
