Laws

I am clueless on laws. If you speed and get a ticket, then you broke a law of the land. If an illegal alien comes into the country why are they illegal? They are because of laws. If you murder someone, then you break a law of the land and whose law? God! If we litter, then we broke another law of the land. If we run out in the street as a child and get hit by a car, then we have broken mom and dad's law. Parents tell us to come in at a certain time. Whose law have we broken if we don't come in when they say?

Why do we have laws? To protect us. Do they always meet with our approval? No, but that is the law. If mom tells us not to touch a hot stove, then there is a reason behind it. God has reasons behind his laws. Do you think the Jews always liked what he said all the time? No...they did not and they paid for it. It doesn't matter how much we want to make it right in our eyes, it is still HIS law.

Speeding is against the law of the land. If we speed, then we will get a ticket if caught or we will cause a bad wreck or we might get by with it once or twice. Is it right to break the law? I will let you decide.

Gal. 5: 19- 21 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are:adultery,fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will NOT inherit the kingdom of God.

God's word will judge us one day. Do we hate the adulterer? God says don't hate. We hate the sin, not the person. Everyone wants that person to go to Heaven. At least they should. Hatred is listed here so we better beware.

By God's law our country was founded. God set forth what a marriage was way back in Genesis. He also made sure they knew what it was in the new testament. I pray for each individual that goes against God's law. I pray for each person that goes against the law of the land....the Boston Marathon bomber, Jefferey Dahmer, Joe whomever that causes the United States harm.

There are plenty of people who get drunk on a regular basis, but God says don't do that. It isn't my law, but HIS. Do I "hate" the drunk? By no means, I hate the sin. I pray for everyone that breaks a law of the land, a parents law and most of all God's law. God is much mightier than the law of mom or dad or our courts.
